CoinLedger fully supports Canada for crypto tax purposes. For detailed information on how cryptocurrency is taxed in Canada, please read the complete guide on our blog:

To get started, select the Canada Dollar and Canadian Tax Year in your account's Tax Settings. Be sure to also select Adjusted Cost Base (ACB) as your Report Calculation Method. Then, press Save. You can now navigate through the rest of the app and build out your capital gains and losses reports.

Once you have imported and classified all of your transaction history data, you can view a free preview of your gains and losses on the Tax Reports page. When you are ready to purchase your Tax Reports, select Upgrade to Unlock.

CoinLedger provides all the tax reports you'll need to report your crypto taxes in Canada. To report your capital gains from crypto, you'll need the CRA Schedule 3 form. To download this, navigate to the Tax Reports Downloads menu and then click on the CRA Forms tab.

Finally, click Generate next to the CRA Schedule 3 and then click Download.

If needed, you can download the CRA Income Tax and Benefit Return form which can be used to report your crypto income and capital gains. One useful resource for reporting your crypto income is the Income Report provided by CoinLedger which you can learn about here.
