The Expert Review is a comprehensive assessment of your account that offers detailed analysis of the data you have imported into CoinLedger. Knowing that your account and data have been carefully examined by an experienced professional gives you the peace of mind you need to confidently do your crypto taxes each year. Learn more about the Expert Review process below!

What is the Expert Review?

The Expert Review provides you with a detailed overview of all the data you have imported into CoinLedger and flags any potential issues found in your account, along with custom, personalized recommendations to resolve them.

When you purchase an Expert Review, you're paired with a dedicated expert from our team who reviews your account and flags any issues with your data. Our experts work with you to perform a comprehensive review of your account, and then send you a personalized report once that review has concluded.

After you review your report, our experts are here to answer any further questions you may have via chat or email.

How should I prepare for my report?

To prepare for your Expert Review, please import data from ALL the exchanges, wallets, blockchains and Dapps you have used to buy, sell or trade crypto, for ALL tax years. Gathering data from all sources for all available tax years will enable the CoinLedger team to perform a thorough analysis of your account. This also avoids delays in completing your Expert Review.

FAQ’s

How much does the Expert Review cost?

The Expert Review is priced at $499. This price includes the comprehensive analysis performed by our expert professionals, a detailed document highlighting any detected account issues and steps to solve them, as well as any follow up support you may need.

When will I receive my report?

After you purchase an Expert Review, you’ll receive a follow-up email from one of our agents laying out a more specific timeline for your account. The whole process typically takes between 7-10 days to complete, but this time frame can be shorter or longer depending on the complexity of your account, or if there is any additional data that needs to be imported.

Can you enter my data for me?

The CoinLedger Expert Review team is not able to import, change, or modify your data on your behalf. Rather, we’re focused on analyzing the data that users have already imported into our software and providing you with personalized recommendations based on that data. If you're interested in a service where our team handles importing and classifying your data for you, we recommend taking a look at our Done For You offering. With CoinLedger Done For You, you can work 1-on-1 with a dedicated CoinLedger expert who will import your data, classify your transactions, and provide you with finalized tax reports.

Will you file my tax return for me?

CoinLedger does not file tax reports on your behalf. However, we are integrated with all the major online tax software platforms such as TurboTax and TaxAct to make the process of e-filing as simple as possible. You can also invite a tax professional to your account so that they can file your crypto taxes on your behalf.

Can I talk to someone on the phone?

We do not offer phone support as part of the Expert Review service. However, you will receive priority chat support from the expert reviewer assigned to your account.

Can I get a refund for my Expert Review report?

We understand that circumstances arise where you may need to request a refund for your Expert Review. You're eligible for a refund provided that all of the following criteria are met:

  • Your refund request is made within 14 days of your Expert Review purchase.

  • Your Expert Review report has not yet been completed and sent to you.

  • The completion of your Expert Review report is limited by a verifiable CoinLedger product limitation.
