File Import Walkthrough

Step 1:

Log into your Bybit account.

Step 2:

Select Orders from the menu at the top and then select Spot Order.

Step 3:

Under the Spot section select Trade History. Make sure you don't go to trade history under the Derivatives section.

Step 4:

Leave all fields as they are and click on the export button.

Step 5:

Next, select the Customize option and pick a date range. The maximum is six months, so you may need multiple XLS files to export your entire history. After the file is processed, the download link will appear.

Step 6:

Navigate to Step 1. Import. Select Add Account then choose the Bybit tab on CoinLedger. Click on Upload File or drag the XLS file you just downloaded into the box to import your transactions.

When importing a transaction history CSV, you will have the option to specify a start date for your import under the Drag and Drop Files Here box. This feature is designed to prevent duplicate data from being imported. You can access this feature by hitting the Import Settings drop down menu, as shown below, and then specifying a date for your import to start from. All transactions after this date will be imported. You should not do this if you are importing all of your transactions into CoinLedger for the first time.

Bybit File Limitations

CoinLedger currently does not support derivatives trading. If you've participated in derivatives trades on Bybit, these types of transactions will fail to import. Only spot trades can currently be imported.

โ€‹Additional notes for Bybit's file exports:

  • Each download URL will only be kept for 7 days

  • Up to 10,000 records can be exported each time; please modify the date range or contact the customer support if the status shows "Limit Exceeded"

  • Each user can export up to 5 times per day
