CoinLedger only needs "Read" or "View" access to import your trade history. This permission protects your accounts. Learn more about API access in this article here.

Step 1:

Log into your Independent Reserve account.

Step 2:

Navigate to settings and then select API Keys.

Step 3:

Click generate, select Read-only, enter a description (this can be any value you'd like) and enter your password. Click save.

Step 4:

Upon successful API key generation, make sure to store your secret key somewhere safe, as you will not be able to recover it later.

Step 5:

Navigate to Step 1. Import. Select Add Account then choose the Independent Reserve tab on CoinLedger. Click on Auto-Import then enter your API Key and API Secret into the correct fields. Click Sync Transactions.
