If you're using a partially supported exchange (or one that CoinLedger does not have an API or native file integration with), you can import your transactions from your exchange with the Universal Import Template.

Simply export your transaction history from your exchange, and then map the transactions into our supported CSV file format.

Import a partially-supported exchange step-by-step

Below we demonstrate the step-by-step process for mapping your transactions from your exchange into our Universal/Manual Import Template.

After following along in the video above, here's a brief recap that outlines the next steps. Be sure to visit the guides linked below for any further questions on importing transactions manually.

Step 1

First, download the transaction history file from whichever crypto exchange, wallet, or platform you're looking to import.

Usually you can find this directly within your exchange or request it from your exchange's customer support.

Step 2

Once you have all of your transactions from your exchange, make a copy of the generic/manual import spreadsheet template.

Step 3

Now map your transactions from your exchange to match the supported generic/manual import template on our website. For any further troubleshooting tips or questions on specific formatting requirements, jump over to this guide!

Step 4

Once complete, download your newly created spreadsheet as a CSV file.

Step 5

Finally, upload your newly-created CSV file into your exchange's import tab within CoinLedger.
