You can easily import your MetaMask transactions into CoinLedger by entering your public wallet address.

1. From the Import page select Add Account and choose MetaMask

2. Find your public wallet address

From within MetaMask select the wallet you would like to add and copy your public address to your clipboard.

3. Paste in your public address

Next, press Connect Wallet on the new MetaMask tab you selected. Paste your address into the Wallet Address field. You'll also be prompted to select the blockchain you would like to import. In this example, I selected the Ethereum blockchain.

CoinLedger will automatically scan this address to see if it was used on any other blockchains and will then prompt you to import your transactions from each of those chains. This allows you to import all of your transactions in one easy, seamless experience. To proceed, press Agree.

After a moment, CoinLedger will ask you to review each of the blockchains it automatically suggested. You can remove or modify any of the suggestions on this screen. Once you're ready to proceed with your import, select Sync Transactions!

After a few moments, each of your blockchain imports will be complete. If CoinLedger did not suggest each of the blockchains you use on your MetaMask Wallet, you'll need to import those chains individually. For a list of the blockchains and dapps that CoinLedger supports, check out this guide.

Note: If you swapped crypto from smart contracts that CoinLedger does not integrate with yet, these transactions will be imported as Uncategorized. You can properly map those transactions from the Transactions page within CoinLedger. Learn more about classifying Uncategorized transactions in this guide.

Our team is continually building native support for additional smart contracts like OpenSea and Uniswap. What smart contract would you like us to integrate with next? :)
