All CoinLedger users have the option to use their custom referral link to invite their friends to sign up and use CoinLedger.

To get started, click the Profile icon in the top right corner of your account and then click Invite friends and Earn $$$.

Here you'll see your unique referral link which can be used to invite your friends and followers to sign up for CoinLedger. On this page you can also track the status of your affiliate earnings, referrals and balance.

When your referrals sign up using this custom referral link, they'll see a 10% discount automatically applied to their account on the checkout page, as shown below:

Using your custom referral link you can refer CoinLedger to your friends and followers. When they successfully sign up and pay for a report, you'll be paid a 25% recurring commission for every year they do their crypto taxes with us.

Once your affiliate account reaches $30 USD in commission credits, you're eligible to request a payout and receive your referral commissions directly into your PayPal account.

You can request affiliate payouts from within your CoinLedger account by clicking Payout next to your Balance, as shown below:

You can also update your PayPal email (which is used for commission payouts) by clicking Change next to Paypal Email.

I referred someone but I don't see a payout in my account. What happened?

The people you referred likely did not sign up for an account, or signed up but did not pay for their report. In order to count as a successful referral under the Affiliate Program, your referral must purchase a tax report.

What’s the referral cookie life?

The referral cookie life is 15 days. If a user purchases the product after 15 days since the first referred visit, the conversion won’t be tracked anymore.

Why can’t I see my sign-ups and/or rewards?

Our tracking is based on browser cookies. So if you used a different browser/device from the visitors to sign up, you cleared your cookies, you used incognito, or you signed up from your own referral link, the signup might not be tracked. If you are 100% sure the sign-up or sale was not tracked correctly, contact our referral platform provider at [email protected].

Can I sign up using my own referral link?

No. Self-referrals are strictly prohibited. The aim of a referral program is to encourage affiliates and ambassadors to spread the word about our product, not to get discounts.

Can I run an ad campaign/pay for ads containing CoinLedger's referral links to generate referrals?

No. Promoters are strictly prohibited from using CoinLedger referral links in paid ads, including paid search engine or social media advertising campaigns. Referrals obtained through paid ads are considered invalid and do not qualify for commission payouts, as this violates our affiliate program’s terms of service. Failure to comply will result in any referrals generated from these ads being invalidated.

Affiliate commissions from such referrals will not be paid out.

I am a coupon aggregator site. Can I refer users to CoinLedger using my affiliate link?

No, this is strictly prohibited. Referrals originating from coupon networks or coupon aggregator websites are not permitted in CoinLedger's affiliate program. Since these are not legitimate, organic referrals, commissions will not be paid out for any revenue generated through these sources.
