Follow this guide to change your account email, change your home country, and adjust your report settings to match the fiat currency and time zone where you are filing taxes.

NOTE: CoinLedger does not collect or store personally-identifying information in order to calculate your tax reports. An email address is all that is needed to create an account and pay for a report.

How can I change my account email?

Change your account email by following the process below!

NOTE: Once you submit your change email request from Settings in the CoinLedger app, we will automatically send an approval link to your OLD email to approve the change. You MUST confirm the change before it takes effect.

Step 1

Head to the CoinLedger App and click on your profile in the top right corner of your screen. Then, select Settings

Step 2

Next, click Change Email

Step 3

Enter a new email address to replace your original, and then select Save

Step 4

Next, head to the inbox of your ORIGINAL account email, and from the message sent by CoinLedger, confirm your account email change by clicking Verify Now.

After verifying the change, you should see a confirmation message like the one below.

Step 5

Once you have verified the change email request, you will need to log in with the new email address. After you successfully log in under the new email address, you will see your account details updated.

How can I customize my country, currency and timezone?

Step 1

Navigate to your Account Settings page by selecting the profile picture in the top right corner.

Step 2

Navigate to Tax Settings. On this page you can choose your Country (or leave it unspecified), Home Fiat Currency, Time Zone, and Report Calculation Method.

Customize these settings and press Save in the lower right corner when you've finished.
