CoinLedger only needs "Read" or "View" access to import your trade history. This permission protects your accounts. Learn more about API access in this article here.

Step 1:
Click on the Sync Transactions button to go to your Gemini account.

Step 2:
After clicking the button, it will take you directly to the Gemini website where you can authorize CoinLedger to import your trades.

First, enter your SMS/Authenticator app verification code.

Then, on the following screen press Allow to give CoinLedger read-only access to your Gemini transaction history.

Step 3:

After clicking Allow, it will take you back to CoinLedger, where your automatic import will begin.

Now, all of your trades and transactions from Gemini have automatically been imported!
