Purchases of an ICO need to be added into the application to give you accurate tax information.

Buying into an ICO is essentially the same as making a cryptocurrency trade through an exchange where you are trading one coin for another. Therefore, you should add these transactions into our Universal Manual Import template and upload them into CoinLedger.

For example, let's say I sent 5 ETH to a wallet address and in turn received 2,000 JTP coins for their ICO.

I would add this into the Universal template as 5 ETH as the Asset Sent and 2,000 JTP as the Asset Received.

I can put N/A for the exchange as I didn't go through a cryptocurrency exchange for this transaction.
