As of January 2022, KuCoin has removed online file exports for trading history before 2019. This means that any transactions on KuCoin before 2019 are not available through API or website. If you were trading on KuCoin before 2019, you will need to request a CSV file from the KuCoin support team. Follow this guide to request the complete file that contains KuCoin transaction history.

Step 1:

Navigate to the KuCoin Support website and create a new request.

Step 2:

Fill out the request form with the following values and copy the message below into their text box.

Hello,

I am currently trying to complete my taxes with CoinLedger, and I need a spreadsheet detailing my full transaction history on my KuCoin account, including trades, deposits and withdrawals.

Could you please send that?

Thanks!

Step 3:

Wait until the KuCoin support team sends you the trade history file. This can take up to 10 days.

Step 5:
You will receive a file in .xlsx format. Navigate to Step 1. Import. Select Add Account then choose the KuCoin tab on CoinLedger. Click on Upload File and drag your XLSX file into the box to import your transactions.

When importing a transaction history CSV, you will have the option to specify a start date for your import under the Drag and Drop Files Here box. This feature is designed to prevent duplicate data from being imported. You can access this feature by hitting the Import Settings drop down menu, as shown below, and then specifying a date for your import to start from. All transactions after this date will be imported. You should not do this if you are importing all of your transactions into CoinLedger for the first time.
