IMPORTANT NOTE: Bittrex has recently filed for bankruptcy and may not be available in your market. In order to import your trades from this exchange, please reach out to their Customer Support directly. Alternatively, you can import your transactions from these exchanges into CoinLedger using our Universal Manual Import template.

Legacy Import Instructions

Review the following video for a step-by-step walkthrough on importing your Bittrex file to our software, or view the individual steps below!

Step 2:
On the top right of the menu header, select the "Orders" button.

Step 3:
Under the "Recent Orders" section, select "Download History".

Step 4:
Use the pop up to download trade history files from ALL years of trading. You will need to export a separate file for each year.

*CoinLedger needs data from all years to build an accurate tax report.

Step 5:
You will receive a file in .csv format. Navigate to Step 1. Import. Select Add Account then choose the Bittrex tab on CoinLedger. Click on Upload File and drag your CSV file into the box to import your transactions.

When importing a transaction history CSV, you will have the option to specify a start date for your import under the Drag and Drop Files Here box. This feature is designed to prevent duplicate data from being imported. You can access this feature by hitting the Import Settings drop down menu, as shown below, and then specifying a date for your import to start from. All transactions after this date will be imported. You should not do this if you are importing all of your transactions into CoinLedger for the first time.
